That revelation was part of the presentation during this week's called board meeting to discuss next year's budget.
According to superintendent dr.jones, part of it may be due to many students being homescooled, or enrolling in charter schools that have recently been opened in the area.
While the pandemic may have affected those numbers, dr.jones says they are going to work on increasing enrollment.
I think now that we're starting to get staff with vaccines, and next year i'm anticipating students being back in school five days a week, i think we're going to end up having at least that part for the reasonfor decline going away.
