Sunrise over the thawing ice of Lake Erie as the last of winter's ice finally melts on the Upper Niagara

Photographer Denis Kreze took this video of sunrise over the thawing ice where the Upper Niagara River meets Lake Erie.

Denis explains that the ice boom has been partially removed as it's the spring thaw so this is the last of the Lake Erie ice for this winter.

It was a beautiful day with temperatures in the 60's
