"it changed things, but it also offered a lot of opportunities."

"i have to get through this, i have to get the exposure, i have to get all of these logistical things done that we had a plan for, and then just like the rest of the world, all of our best laid plans kind of went away."

But they soon learned that with some planning and innovation ?

"* thy could still meet the strenous requirements.

"everything was available, it just required a significant amount of planning."

While these mayo students agree their learning was altered by the pandemic ?

*- it wasn't hindered.

"while it was different, it was not deficient in any way.

I feel like at the end of the day, we're still coming out very well trained and very ready."

Students were also concerned how the pandemic would impact their applications for residency.

"while we're all very happy now, it was a very overwhelming process at baseline for anyone entering into this thing.

But compounding that with new rules that we're being brought out by the entities that do manage the application cycle, and those were also moving targets as well."

"* and arizona campuss participated in match day nat learning where they'll train for the next three to seven years.
