Now at 11.

A local anti-abortion group wants to make sure planned parenthood does not open a location in chattanooga.

Meanwhile, planned parenthood says it has no intention of doing so.

Inside basilica of sts.

Peter and paul is a group of around 80 people.

They're here for a right to life event.

Basilica's pro-life ministry director deirdre cooper: "we're here because chattanooga is pro-life and we do not want planned parenthood coming to chattanooga."

This comes after planned parenthood posted two job openings in chattanooga.

Basilica's pro-life ministry director deirdre cooper: "we don't need them here to do community education or health education.

Chattanooga has federally qualified health centers.

They have pregnancy resource centers.

They have plenty of locations available to low income women.

We don't need planned parenthood."

According to planned parenthood, they have no plans to open a clinic in chattanooga, at this point, but they do have two openings for jobs dedicated to chattanooga.

Planned parenthood of tennessee and north mississippi director of communications savannah bearden: "we are simply meeting the need that our supporters have brought to us."

One job is for a community organizer.

Planned parenthood of tennessee and north mississippi director of communications savannah bearden: "this community orgnizer will be there to educate community members on policies that affect serious issues like reproductive healthcare access and teach them how to share their voices on the local and statewide level."

The other position is health educator.

Planned parenthood of tennessee and north mississippi director of communications savannah bearden: "they are there simply to do trainings for both adults, parents, professionals, high school and college aged kids so that the youth can become peer educators since our statewide polices in tennessee are such that a lot of sex ed, comprehensive sex education does not happen in our schools."

The anti-abortion group is planning its next move.

They've already started a petition against planned parenthood.
