Last night they had thier first concert in just over a year, so it was a quick turn around to prepare the arena.

Angela stribling just bought her tickets today and is excited to finally get out with the family and go to an event.

She said she has been to rodeos at the bancorpsouth arena every year.
Doug johnson says their first show last night was a success and is ready for the upcoming events as well.

There are 2 shows tomorrow one is at 1pm another at 7:30pm.
Johnson says each show will last around two and a half hours and they have about 30 competitors.

It will take workers about six hours of work to clean up all of the dirt and take out the cattle gates after the rodeo.

Johnson said the extra cleaning afterwards is definitly worth it to be able to have events.
Stribling is happy more businesses are opening back up.
"everyone wants to be cautious and careful, but everyone has to make a living as well."
Johnson said workers will start sunday cleaning the arena and preparing for their next event ...which is the tupelo ballet next weekend.
