Amid the assembly polls in the state, while addressing a public gathering in Murshidabad on March 27, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi slammed Bharatiya Janata Party for spreading hatred in India regarding Muslim people.
Owaisi said, "BJP has spread so much hatred in the country that when a child with a Muslim name goes to a temple for water, he is being thrashed." "Muslims are being called 'jihadi', tribals are being called 'Naxals' and secular thinkers are being called 'anti-nationals'," he added.
