Two terrorists were eliminated in Jammu and Kashmir on March 28.
Vijay Kumar, Inspector General of Police, Kashmir, said that Shopian police had received information about some terrorists hiding in a village, following which, a cordon was laid by police, Army, and CRPF.
An encounter subsequently broke out in which a terrorist affiliated with Hizbul Mujahideen, and another linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba were killed.
Kumar said that an AK47 rifle, a pistol, and an M4 rifle were recovered from the terrorists.
The M4 carbine is widely used by US military personnel.
