Online school hasn't been easy for many, but one student is rising above the odds and actually excelling.

While a lot of students are struggling with learning online through a computer ?

His mom, christine, tells me he was enrolled in minnesota virtual academy when he was younger, but decided to try public school one more time.
That's when christine says one of eric's teachers told him he would never amount to anything.
After switching back to minnesota virtual academy where it's strictly online learning... he's now on the 'a' honor roll and enjoys learning from his teachers.
As students and parents are still trying to navigate through distance learning... christine has some advice "organization is huge and taking that breath and knowing that yes it's different, but it will be okay.
Make sure you ask questions.

She says eric now has confidence with school and she gets to see his reaction when he something just clicks for him.
She says he having someone believe in you makes a difference.
