Wind-Driven Fire Damages Homes In Modesto

Strong winds fanned flames that damaged several homes in south Modesto.

The fire started in a backyard shed on Symphony Way, then jumped from tree to tree and spread to five homes.

Three of the homes have minor damage.

No injuries were reported.
