Following breaking news into the newschannel two newsroom.... a utica man is facing charges in colonie.
He is accused of trying to steal two vehicles in the parking lot of walmart there....with a pellet rifle he had just stolen.

Colonie police say 25 year old daquan forehand stole the pellet rifle from the store clerk and fled.
Until he was taken into custody -- witnesses and police thought this was a real gun.
The incident happened yesterday.
He was released earlier in the day-- from the oneida county jail -- where he was being held on domestic violence charges.
Colonie police say forehand is expected to undergo an mental health evaluation.
