As Mamata Banerjee faces a tough battle in the ongoing Bengal polls, her party has now thrown a challenge to PM Modi for the 2024 Lok Sabha election.
Responding to PM Modi’s jibe about Mamata Banerjee looking to contest from another safe seat in West Bengal, Trinamool Congress in a tweet asked the Prime Minister to look for a safer seat in 2024 as he would be challenged in his current Varanasi constituency.
The TMC’s dare to PM Modi also comes days after the West Bengal Chief Minister had written to opposition party leaders on the need to join hands to stop the Modi juggernaut.
