Semi crashed into creek on KY 70

Ots image:right clean-up continues pulaski semi truck into creek.jpg in pulaski county....crews still cleaning a creek...where a semi crashed tuesday night.

According to the somerset special response haz-mat team..

The truck was carrying glass candles when it crashed into the creek off of kentucky 70.

The transportion cabinet says cleaning the creek is taking longer than expected.

The glass candles were crushed in the crash....and there was a petroleum leak.

Crews did manage to pump off the remaining fuel before the truck was raised.

According to the hazmat team...dams are now in place to protect the fish in the creek.
