Waay 31's olivia schueller spoke to a 15-year-old today who said she's counting down the days until her birthday.

Dan, sabrina collins actually leaped out of her car when she heard me speaking with someone about the eligibilty of the vaccine expanding to those 16 and older.

She said she hopes everyone in her age group decides to get the vaccine before the school year begins sabrina said she's sure her school will continue keeping the desks 3 to 6 feet apart this fall, but she's excited for school to return to some type of normalcy.

The biggest thing she's looking forward to is seeing her friends again and hopefully by september, seeing them without a mask.

I'm excited that they will be giving the vaccine to the 16 and older.i have been waiting for almost, for more then a year now and im excited to hopefully get back into school by hopefully the beginning of septmeber.

Sabrina said coming from a family that struggles with health conditions, those with underlying medical conditions should be prioritized before any of those in her age group get vaccinated.
