Jaishankar said that recent developments in the country have opened up new opportunities for Russian businesses in various sectors.
"The Atmanirbhar Bharat economic vision can facilitate more contemporary economic relationship in the post COVID era," he said.
After meeting Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Jaishankar said, "Russian support for our Gaganyaan programme has progressed, which we deeply appreciate.
Our defence requirement in the past year was expeditiously addressed."
