Lafayette Police Officer Has Hearing Set After Violent Arrest

A hearing has been set for the the lafayette police officer who was put on desk duty after a violent arrest back in april.playing is body cam footage of the arrest that happened last april.

The video shows him yanking a woman who was handcuffed in the back of his police unit..

The officer then hogtied the woman, busting her chin.

Roberts is appealing the decision to relieve him of swat duty, citing a loss of income..

The board will meet tomorrow to decide what it will do with the appeal.
