TMC candidate from Mathabhanga, Girindra Nath Barman was allegedly attacked by BJP workers while he was returning from election campaign on April 08.
The TMC candidate sustained head injuries.
TMC workers staged protest in front of SDO office.
Party workers asked Election Commission to take action against the incident.
"BJP goons vandalised his car and attacked him.
He has sustained head injuries.
We demand action," said a TMC worker.
