Uttar Pradesh Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Amit Mohan Prasad informed that the state has reported 12,787 fresh COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours.
The total number of active infections in the state stands at 58,801.
He said that 6,08,853 people have been recovered from the dreadful infection.
9,085 people have lost their lives in the state till date.
