Bulldogs preparing for Magic City Classic

On the heels of a big win against Jackson State, the Bulldogs are looking to punch their ticket to the conference championship against Alabama State.

For the first time this season -- alabama a&m football is set to play games on consecutive weekends ..

After winning a shootout against jackson state on saturday -- the bulldogs high powered offense is set to take on alabama state in the magic city classic .aside from being a rivalry game -- this one has playoff implications .

Now despite having played the fewest games of any team in the east -- the alabama a&m bulldogs are currently in first place and could punch their ticket to the conference championship game with a win over the hornets on saturday...even with all the pressure that a win and in situation brings -- head coach connell maynor says its nothing new since they were in the exact same spot last year.

"we were there last year, we didn't finish ... we in position -- we expect to be here, we expect to win, we expect to play well, now we gotta go out and do it and we have to get prepared, we've got a couple more days to work and so we gotta put the work in and get prepared and then go out an execute on saturday night."
