COVID-19 situation continues to deteriorate as India reported highest single day spike on April 15 with over 2,00,739 new COVID cases on April 15.
Total caseload of the country stood at 1,40,74,564 and currently there are14,71,877 active cases.
93,528 patients were discharged in last 24 hours taking the recovery tally to 1,24,29,564.
With 1,038 new deaths, country's toll mounted to 1,73,123.
