Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij has termed lockdown and stringent enforcement of guidelines as the two solutions to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Vij, however, said the state government doesn't want to adopt the lockdown method, and thus want the restrictions imposed in the state to be enforced strictly.
The Health Minister said the government is ready to face the dissatisfaction of the people over stringent actions, but cannot see heap of dead bodies due to COVID-19.
Haryana on April 15 recorded its highest single day spike of 5858 new cases, pushing the active infection over 30,000.
