Bihar government has geared up and took several steps amid surge in coronavirus cases including converting Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) as a dedicated COVID facility.
"We have increased beds in hospitals in view of surge in COVID cases.
We have decided to make Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH), a dedicated COVID facility.
We are also increasing number of beds in PMCH, AIIMS, IGIMS and other medical colleges.
Testing has also increased.
District Control Units established for assistance to patients," said Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey to ANI.
