Severe cyclonic storm Tauktae intensified overnight into 'very severe cyclonic storm' over eastcentral Arabian Sea according to the weather department.
100 rescue teams are deployed for six states - Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Goa.
India Meteorological Department said that Tauktae is very likely to intensify further during the next 12 hours.
