A doctor in Assam's Hojai, around 140 km from state capital Guwahati, was brutally assaulted by relatives of a patient and also allegedly by locals.
Dr Seuj Kumar Senapati was on duty at a Covid hospital when one patient died and an argument started by the relatives escalated into assault.
