A new antenna was airlifted to the top of the UK's tallest freestanding structure - the Emley Moor transmitting station in West Yorkshire.

A new antenna was airlifted to the top of the UK's tallest freestanding structure - the Emley Moor transmitting station in West Yorkshire.

A specialist helicopter lifted sections of a new antenna to the top of the tower that stands at 330.4 metres (1,084 feet).

The new antenna is part of ongoing upgrades to the mast that is listed as the 25th tallest tower in the world.
