The dramatic video, shot in the city of Zhuji in Zhejiang Province on June 10, shows vehicles getting trapped in flooded streets and several cars being washed away by the rapid floodwater.
Firefighters were seen rescuing people trapped in the flooded houses.
Over 2,000 rescuers were deployed and 1,835 people have been evacuated.
Two people were killed and two are still missing.
Search and rescue work is underway.
