Amber was driving down the road in Fort Myers, Florida on June 7.
She was on her way home from the store with her husband when a cattle egret decided to get a lift.
The white bird landed on their hood at the light and they thought it would fly away as soon as they started driving.
Surprisingly, the bird continued to hang onto the hood before flying away.
