Thousands of heliostats formed a giant emblem of the Chinese Communist Party to celebrate its 100th anniversary in northwestern China.
The impressive video, filmed in the city of Dunhuang in Gansu Province on July 1, shows over 3,700 heliostats forming a giant emblem of the Chinese Communist Party as well as slogans like "long live the Chinese Communist Party" in Chinese characters.
According to reports, the 8-million-square-metre solar-thermal power station mobilised the heliostats through intelligent programming to celebrate the Chinese Communist Party's 100th anniversary.
