Hundreds of crabs crawl together along road

Hundreds of crabs were seen crawling together and holding up cars along a road in Indonesia.

Footage shows the crustaceans slowly migrating across a village in Papua province.

Truck driver Yag Heppy said they had to be careful not to step on the animals so they usually prevent using the road near their habitat during this season.

He said: ‘They were going somewhere to mate and breed from land to see.

Witnessing it firsthand was an incredible experience.’
