Over 73 people have died in Mahrashtra since Thursday evening as rains battered the western and southern parts of the state.
Several people died in landslides as houses collapsed and floods wreaked havoc in the worst affected districts of Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Satara, Sangli and Kolhapur.
