First week of high schoolfootblal practice and we'revisiting the Bulldogs joined bya couple ofseniors quarterback TylerSwanwick andoffensive and defensive linemanTanner Jepsen.

Guys, first ofall, congrats onthe state championship.

"Thankyou.

Thank you." Hopefully youhad a good summer, I wantto know firsth how many timeshave you watched the statechange game?

"Probably at least10 times, and then atleast 10 more.

Can you seemomentmu, what's thedifference here in the firstweek of practicecoming off the statechampionship?

Isthere any?

"I don't thinkthere's much of a difference.

Imean we're kind of getting bakcinto ourgroove, the energy is coming, wekind oflacked that at camp like twoweeks ago,but we found it halfway throughthat adnhaving a lot of fun now, I thinkit's gonnaget a lot more fun with padson."You guys had some really goodseniorsthat graduated, how do you guyspick upwhere they left off and kind offill in holesthere?

"We've a lot of goodsenisor this year, wehave like what 15, 14 or 15seniors this yearcoming up a lto of returningstarters, I' mobviously the only returningstarter ondefense that's going to be alittle tough, butwe have a lot of good guyscoming up so Ithink we're gonna be alright."You obviously had that huge gamein the statechamponiship game, catching thefootball.What's the biggest adjustmentfor younow moving to the quarterbackposition?

"I know what's goingto be open now, afterplaying wide receiver last year,so I knowwhat routes are open, usuallynow, andwhere the holes are, but alsowill also makethe big plays that I was makinglast year so I'mexceitd." Tanner, th eoffensiveline you guys havesome experience there.

What'sthe keyfor taht group to lade theoffense here asyou guys get going?

"I thinkour offensive linemen, withthreereturning starters from lastyear, were reallyphysical, we lack in size but wedid lastyear too, and our offensive linewas onemost of our games for us." Doyou guys think it'll bedifferent when youstart playing games, I mean, youguys werea good program, but now you're astatechampion I mean do you feel likethere'll bea little bit of a target on yourback when youguys get lined up againstBrandywein?"There will definitely be atarget on our back.Last year I think a lot of a lotof teamsoverlooked us, and after winningstate Ithink teams will be like thisteams this team'sreal serious competition.?They'll begin their state titledefense August26th when they take onBrandywine, andthen the home opener againstSchoolcraft,what a game that should be i nweek two.Coming up in a little bit we'regoing to talk with head coachJerry Schultz after he led theBulldogs fortat se championshiplast yearfor now though we'll send itback to thestudio.
