THE EMPTY ALLEYWAS TRANSFORMED WITH ARTWORKFEATURING HARRIE TWOODSHILL ... WHO BACK IN 1955...BECAME THE FIRST AFRICANAMERICAN FEMALE IN THE GRANDRAPIDS POLICE DEPARTMENT.AND IN 1977...S HE WAS NAMED TEHFIRST FEMALE DETECTIVE IN G-R-P-D'S HISTORY.6:54 this is wht iat was atrailblazer back when nobodyelse is doing it.

She wasfemale, she was AfricanAmerican,and to go into tht parofessionback then itshows that everything anything'spossible,and showed someone like me thatI could bea police officer, and eventuallybecoming apolice chief.
