I removed the Stainless Steel Bowsprit to check the fore deck and original Bowsprit under it.
Like no surprise is was nicely rotted.
So I removed the original Aluminum Part by cutting out the fiberglass deck and the totally wet plywood board.
It was a piss poor finish by the original boat builder and it didn't help much that whoever fitted the aftermarket bowsprit also did a piss poor job.
Now it's all bedded into solid Epoxy Fiberglass with no chance of future water intrusion.
It also makes it all much stronger as it can never be strong enough given the purpose of this area.
Like usual the video is not edited and doesn't have a fancy sound track or 10 minute intro.
It's just for sharing some info with like minded people who don't have the time for fancy intro's.
Thank you for watching.
