Dr. Richard Urso earned his undergraduate degree in political science from Villanova University in Pennsylvania and his medical degree from McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
He completed his ophthalmology residency at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and a fellowship in oculoplastics and reconstructive surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
