Amid conflict surrounding Russia & Ukraine, US warns that Nord Stream 2 project could be axed

The United States has threatened to halt the opening of Nord stream 2 gas pipeline if Russia invades Ukraine.

However, Germany has said that it would not rule out imposing sanctions on the project.
