By exaggerating the infectiousness of the Covid-19 Virus, and by convincing a trusting public that a novel vaccine technology would save them if they just waited a year before it's roll-out, the government was able to make Canadians accept without questioning the eradication of their most basic rights and liberties, those guaranteed by the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms: the right of association, the right of travel, the right to the dignity or one's person and the right to one's medical privacy.
Fortunately, one of the founders of the Charter is still living, and today he explains our rights under that Charter.
