In southern Ukraine, Russia today claimed to have taken over the southern city of Kherson this would make it the largest in Ukraine to be captured by Russian forces so far.
The city mayor had earlier reported that Russian forces were seen on the city streets, Russian troops had taken over its train station and its port.
