Take a walk through space and time from the new part of the city (Novi Zagreb) to the old part.
This walk is taking you back in time, starting with the new MSU building (Museum of Contemporary Art) built in 2009 - 0:05, passing by Nacionalna i sveučilišna knjižnica (National and University Library) built in 1995 - 26:50, then passing by Koncertna dvorana Vatroslav Lisinski (Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall) built in 1973 - 36:15 and ending at Trg Kralja Tomislava (King Tomislav Square) with Umjetnički paviljon (Art Pavilion) built in 1898 and Zagreb Glavni Kolodvor (Zagreb Central Station) built in 1892 - 47:10.
Each portion of the way represents one layer of more recent Croatian history - from post Yugoslav autonomy (1991 onwards), through socialist years in Yugoslavia (1945 - 1991) to the Austro - Hungarian era (ending with WWI in 1918).
Lets go!
