The Warrior Monk Podcast is run by Lance Radford.
Lance grew up in South Florida and came from a divorced household, but one that still valued education, hard work and God.
He attended the University of Central Florida from 2006-2010 and graduated with a dual degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology and was prepared for a career in medical research.
After graduation, he had a “quarter-life crisis” and decided he wanted to serve and see the world so he enlisted in the Air Force with the primary goal of working within the Special Operations community.
He spent ten years on active duty as a Security Forces specialist.
While on active duty he was assigned to the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) at Hurlburt Field, FL where he became part of the Deployed Aircraft Ground Response Element (DAGRE) providing asset and personal protection in Africa and the Middle-East.
In 2021, he transitioned to the Reserves where he now continues to serve within AFSOC as a Combat Aviation Advisor and work full time as a combat tactics instructor.
In his free-time, he hosts The Warrior Monk Podcast interviewing others who promote the philosophy of “growth through balance” and coach fitness, nutrition and breath-work to help others better themselves in body, mind and spirit.
