Washington vows to hold Iran ‘accountable’ for missile strike

The White House has condemned an Iranian missile strike on a US consulate in Iraq, and has said they will hold Iran ‘accountable’ for its actions.

Speaking on Sunday, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said the strike was carried out without ‘any justification,’ and has promised to support Iraq and its other partners throughout the Middle East in ‘confronting similar threats from Iran.’
