The Russo-Ukrainian War is a continuous conflict between Russia (along with favorable to Russian dissenter powers) and Ukraine.
It started in February 2014 following the Ukrainian Revolution of Dignity, and at first centered around the situation with Crimea and portions of the Donbas, globally perceived as a component of Ukraine
