Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” talks about the fallout from Joe Biden saying that Putin cannot remain in power, if Biden is actually walking back his gaffe, CNN’s Don Lemon making excuses for the President, and a sad Chuck Todd at NBC News discussing the new lows in Biden’s approval rating.
First, Dave discusses Biden’s controversial remarks over the weekend which many thought suggested that the US would support regime change to remove Putin from power in Russia.
While the White house has walked back some of these comments, Biden has seemed to double down on them.
Are Biden’s gaffes going to push the US into World War 3?
Even some mainstream media figures like Jake Tapper are beginning to question the danger of Biden’s gaffes.
But not CNN’s Don Lemon.
Lemon delivered a shameless defense of Biden’s gaffes and did his best to protect the president from any criticism.
Former Obama Defense Secretary Leon Panetta was less kind and acknowledged how Joe Biden may be making it a lot harder to end the Ukraine war.
Then there was Biden speaking with the 82nd airborne division, where he seemed to imply that US troops would soon be in Ukraine.
Peter Doocy of Fox News asked Biden about this as well as his comments on responding to a Russian chemical weapons attack where he repeated back his exact quotes to a confused Biden.
None of this is being lost on the American public.
Chuck Todd seemed sad when discussing how President Biden’s approval continued to drop.
Now a majority of Americans have little confidence in Biden’s ability to avoid getting involved in the Ukraine war.
He has now hit the lowest approval ratings of his presidency as a majority of Americans want him to instead focus on the US economy.
