A statement released by the Florida education department on April 15 announced the rejection of 54 math textbooks.
Among the "prohibited topics and unsolicited strategies" named by the department that are at odds with FL education standards ... ... are "references to Critical Race Theory, inclusions of Common Core, and the unsolicited addition of Social Emotional Learning in mathematics.".
