On Wednesday morning, anti-encroachment drive began in Delhi's Jahangirpuri area, four days after the area witnessed communal clashes.
The drive began under heavy police and paramilitary forces deployment.
The Supreme Court on Wednesday ordered status quo, stopping the demolition drive by the North Delhi Municipal Corporation which was rocked by violence on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti.
