The panel reportedly gathered for five hours on April 20, mostly agreeing that repeated booster doses of coronavirus vaccines are unrealistic.
Experts contend public health agencies should alter their messaging to inform the public that vaccines do not prevent infections.
Instead, the goal of vaccines is to prevent severe illness and death.
