Twitter has gone private under the hand of Elon Musk and regardless of what you think about him, a benevolent oligarch or a drug-addled grifter, this is a good thing.

Why?

Because it couldn't have been any worse.

I don't have a Twitter account, and I doubt I ever will, but it now at least a non-zero chance I might get one some time.
