Boris Johnson has travelled to Helsinki to sign a security assurance declaration with President of Finland Sauli Niinistö, in the face of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
The British prime minister said the agreement between the UK and Finland formalises “a pledge that we will always come to one another’s aid”.
