Northern Ireland Secretary Brandon Lewis blames the EU's lack of "flexibility" on the Northern Ireland Protocol for causing Foreign Secretary Liz Truss' expected announcement setting out plans to override parts of it.
He says the only part of the Protocol that has been respected is protection of the EU Single Market and this stance means the UK have been forced to make some "tough decisions".
