'Variety' reports that the White House said the meeting will , “address anti-Asian hate crimes and discrimination.".
According to the White House, BTS and President Biden, “will also discuss the importance of diversity and inclusion and BTS’ platform as youth ambassadors who spread a message of hope and positivity across the world.".
The meeting will take place on the final day of Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.
Earlier this month, the president lauded legislation that could potentially lead to the creation of a National Museum of Asian Pacific American History and Culture.
