'New York Post' reports that on June 2, Fulton County Judge Ural Glanville denied bond for the Atlanta rapper.
Young Thug, real name Jeffery Lamar Williams, is being held on charges of conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.
He's also accused of participating in criminal street gang activity.
Before the judge denied his bond, Young Thug's attorneys presented witnesses, including music exec Kevin Liles, to highlight the rapper's community involvement.

But their plea didn't work.
Judge Glanville called Young Thug a danger to the community and denied his bond.
I realize that Mr. Williams is presumed innocent.
However, in this particular circumstance there have been significant [claims] about Mr. Williams being a danger to the community, Judge Glanville, via 'New York Post'.
'Billboard' reports that prosecutor Don Geary told Judge Glanville that other alleged gang members have expressed fear of retaliation by Young Thug.
They have stated uniformly that Mr. Williams is dangerous, they are afraid of him, that if they cross him he will kill them and their family.

A trial date is currently set for Jan.
9, 2023
