Police have searched the home of the 41-year-old man suspected of shooting former Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe in Nara.
Multiple homemade guns were reportedly found at the location, according to law enforcement.
In video footage from the scene, police could be seen confiscating a motor scooter.
